The Islamic Movement in Nigeria, IMN, yesterday, raised the alarm that their leader, Sheikh Ibraheem El Zakzaky, who had been held in detention for over two years, may die in government custody. Addressing a press conference in Kaduna, Chairman of the Resource Forum of the IMN, Prof. Abdullahi Danladi, said a recent visit by family members of the detained leader indicated that his health had taken a dive for the worse. Nigeria Had Second Highest Rate Of HIV/AIDS In 2016- WHO Reports

Nigeria had the second largest HIV epidemic in 2016, with over 196,000 adolescents, representing 10 per cent of the global burden said to be living with HIV/AIDS, according to a World Health Report. The report was given by Mrs Esther Samuel, The Chief Matron, Lagos State Ministry of Health, at a programme by a Non-governmental Organisation (NGO) Lisa Demi Project, in Lagos.
