The Action Democratic Party (ADP) has rejected the timetable and schedule of activities for the 2019 general elections, which was issued by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) on Tuesday. National chairman of the party, Engineer Yabaji Yusuf Sani, who addressed journalists yesterday in Abuja, faulted the scheduling of the presidential election before the governorship poll. INEC has fixed Saturday, February 16, 2019 as the date for Presidential and National Assembly elections, while Governorship and State Assembly elections would hold on Saturday, March 2, 2019. Engr. Ahead of the 2019 general elections, over 10 Arewa Youth groups have declared support for the next Nigeria President to come from the South-East. The groups, including Arewa Youth Forum, Arewa Youths Coalition for Peace, Northern Central Youth Club and Youths for One Nigeria made the declaration in Imo State yesterday during a youth summit.
