The Appeal Court, dismissed an appeal filed by Sen. George Sekibo, challenging the judgment of the Rivers State National Election Tribunal which sacked him as Senator representing Rivers East Senatorial District. The Appeal Court Panel also declared Hon Andrew Uchendu of the All Progressive Congress(APC) as the rightful winner of the 2016 National Assembly Rerun for Rivers East Senatorial District.
